Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, gates, rail or shipping areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations and complete required reports.

As a Security Officer Patrol Enhanced Part Time in Cofield, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, gates, rail or shipping areas, and the perimeter, as assigned.


• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.


• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
