As a Security Officer Warehouse Screening Checkpoint in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by monitoring access points, screening individuals and/or items according to site procedures, and reporting security‑related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering clear communication and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or property entering designated areas in accordance with facility procedures, documenting and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery‑related traffic within the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, loading areas, and perimeter, while reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
