Job summary

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, entrances, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain a visible presence while assisting with access control, visitor inquiries, and incident documentation as directed by site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in West Norriton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to shoppers and staff. Minimum Requirements:
