Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, unarmed patrol role in West Norriton, PA. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and related settings, performing routine patrols, ensuring safety, and delivering excellent customer service to shoppers and staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in West Norriton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to shoppers and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, entrances, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate store leadership and or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain a visible presence while assisting with access control, visitor inquiries, and incident documentation as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
