Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a full-time patrol role in the King of Prussia area. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment for employees and visitors at a logistics/distribution site.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, conducting patrols, controlling access, and documenting observations per site procedures. Minimum requirements include 18+ years, a HS diploma, and a background check with a drug screen where

Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Full Time Operations in King of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and verify credentials or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
