This full-time role offers a competitive hourly pay of $19.75, with a shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by performing security procedures and following site policies.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols to deter incidents and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site protocols and report concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following post orders and escalation procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Technology Support in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, reporting access concerns and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
