Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Presence in West Chester, OH. You will provide a visible security presence, assist customers and employees, and respond to incidents at a retail location.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.85 per hour, and schedules include afternoon/evening shifts. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
