Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Visitor Management in Albuquerque, NM. You will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor entry activity, and help maintain a secure, customer-focused front desk environment at a technology, media, and telecom site.

This full-time role offers $19.25 per hour with a daytime to evening schedule. A high school diploma and computer comfort are required; CPR/First Aid and guard credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Manage visitor sign-in procedures, validate identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor front desk communications, answer and direct calls, coordinate with appropriate site contacts, and provide clear information regarding visitor procedures.
• Observe access points and reception-area activity, report unusual conditions or access concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry through professional presence and adherence to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
