Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage access, and keep logs and records.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions and unauthorized access.
• Support compliance with site entry requirements and safety protocols while deterring unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM; Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and security‑related concerns.
• Support compliance with site entry requirements, including applicable personal protective equipment and restricted‑area access protocols, while helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
