Allied Universal in Berlin, CT is seeking a Security Officer for a Utility Driving Role. This full-time position requires patrolling utility facilities, enforcing access control, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

You will perform routine and random patrols, verify entry, respond to incidents, and document activities with professional communication to site contacts and emergency responders. A valid driver’s license is required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Utility Driving Rolein Berlin, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and grounded in integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
