What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and critical infrastructure access points to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
