Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for an upscale residential building in New York. This is a full-time position with daytime shifts. A New York State Security Guard License is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent and successful

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols of residential buildings and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and resident concerns, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols and daily activities accurately in logs and reports.

As a Security Officer - Upscale Residential Building, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
