Allied Universal® in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist employees and visitors, and provide courteous, professional service while maintaining a visible, friendly presence.

The role offers weekend night shifts (Sat and Sun 6 PM–6 AM) with $17.48 per hour, a background check, high school diploma, and eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and site conditions.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
