Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Mobility in Orlando, FL. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, and deliver customer service at a logistics and distribution site while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and service.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year in security, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Work schedule includes day shifts, with weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying designated personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, distribution facilities, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials and/or delivery information as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and activity logs.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
