Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Visitor Access Control in Lockbourne, OH. You will monitor and patrol, handle access control, and respond to security concerns while upholding the company’s values of integrity and reliability.

You'll provide professional customer service to employees and visitors, maintain clear communications with responders and leadership, and support site protocols during incidents and alarms.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and/or policy violations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Visitor Access Control in Lockbourne, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to security-related concerns. What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
