Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and/or government facility stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or supervisor.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.
