Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to support access control and front-desk duties at a premier Colorado Springs location. You will serve guests, monitor access, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, background check, and drug screen where permitted. Flexible day-time shifts include a 20.00 USD hourly rate and opportunities for career growth within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while enforcing site-specific security procedures.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence, greet and direct guests, verify access, and assist with inquiries.
• Monitor lobby/entrance activity, report suspicious conditions, and deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and guest concerns calmly, following established emergency procedures.
• Maintain logs and incident reports, coordinating with hotel personnel and responders as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence, greet and direct guests and visitors, verify access as required, and assist with general inquiries.
• Monitor lobby and entrance activity, report suspicious or unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and communication records, and coordinate with hotel personnel and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
