Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a TWIC access role in Myrtle Beach, SC. The position is part-time with a fixed day schedule and patrol duties across the distribution site to deter security incidents.

You will provide customer service and enforce site policies while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements include a TSA-issued TWIC, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background checks.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution location, including building interiors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle, visitor, and employee activity to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
