Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer – Site Access in Blythewood, SC. You will monitor access points, greet employees and visitors, and maintain a visible, reassuring presence at a manufacturing and industrial site.

This full-time position offers a per-hour pay rate of $19.10, requires 2 years of security-related experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• 2+ years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitors, and documenting entries/exits.
• Complete patrol and incident reports; relay information to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Unarmed – Site Access in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist with a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

Day Time

Tue06:30 AM – 04:30 PM

Wed06:30 AM – 04:30 PM

Thur06:30 AM – 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual occurrences.
• Complete accurate patrol reports, incident reports, and daily activity logs; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
