Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer Unarmed in Blythewood, SC to safeguard clients across industries, monitor areas, and support access control. You will provide professional customer service, respond calmly to incidents, and maintain thorough incident logs as part of a reliable security team.

The role requires at least 2 years in security, a valid driver’s license, and background checks. Full-time schedule offered with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed, and maintain accurate daily activity and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, orderly workplace by communicating observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Unarmed – Experienced in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue06:30 AM – 02:30 PM
• Wed06:30 AM – 02:30 PM
• Thur06:30 AM – 02:30 PM
• Fri06:30 AM – 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
