Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Unarmed Security Officer for a site in Spartanburg, SC. You will patrol production areas, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service while following site policies and safety procedures.

This full-time role involves night shifts at a manufacturing location, with a focus on deterrence, incident response, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $17.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying across the location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related observations and incidents.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other prohibited activity by maintaining a visible presence and promptly reporting unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
