Allied Universal in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding site procedures and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by executing site-specific security procedures and emergency responses at a manufacturing/industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly; document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel and deliveries.
• Complete accurate reports, shift logs, and incident documentation and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel and deliveries.
• Complete accurate reports, shift logs, and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
