Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a property access role in Simpsonville, SC. You will monitor and patrol areas, support access control, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $13.72 per hour, offering benefits such as health insurance and a 401k plan, plus ongoing training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observed maintenance, operational, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

• Mon 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
