Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Rounds) in Jackson, TN. You will protect client sites, perform routine patrols, maintain visibility, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify authorized access, and document visitor/vehicle activity.
• Complete accurate incident reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovation.

Pay Rate: $18.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
