Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Houston, TX. This role offers flexible day and weekend shifts with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour.

You will patrol facilities, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of required background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Observe facility operations and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
