Allied Universal in Jackson, TN is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol to monitor and safeguard client sites, primarily in manufacturing and industrial environments. You will maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver courteous service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and timely.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
