Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Zone Inspector to protect clients across government-related locations. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with day and night shifts to cover aviation-related sites.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver friendly customer service while following post orders and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aviation-related government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.
