Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Orlando, FL at a government aviation location. You will provide frontline security, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service to travelers, visitors, and personnel.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background check, drug screen, and licensing rules as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and suspicious activity calmly and professionally per location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, assist with credential verification and visitor direction.
• Document observations and incidents, communicating with site leadership and responders.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, visitors, and personnel. Pay Rate: $18.47 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 09:30 PM - 05:30 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following airport and government location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with credential verification, visitor direction, and reporting of unauthorized entry attempts or unusual conditions.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
