Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Threat Detection. You will provide security for travelers, visitors and staff at an airport environment, conducting regular patrols and monitoring access points.

You will report observations, respond to incidents, and complete clear post-incident reports. This role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to earn through our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals and facilities to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following post orders and protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and communication protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
