Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Assurance in Orlando, FL to safeguard clients across government and other sectors. The role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors at an aviation location.

The position offers flexible daytime schedules with shift options and opportunities to advance through our Shift-Claim platform and training programs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport property and designated locations; adapt to varying environments.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervision, airport operations, and emergency personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and governmental facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport property, including terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other designated locations; working environments and conditions may vary.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal supervision, airport operations, law enforcement, and/or emergency response personnel as directed.
