Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Orlando, FL. You will provide customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors while patrolling terminal areas and monitoring access points in an airport setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, exterior grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with leadership and emergency responders.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.47 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an airport environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations and concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify irregularities and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, airport operations personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
