Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance in Seattle, WA. You will monitor a transit environment, patrol facilities, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, guiding visitors, and reporting observations to leadership. Must meet minimum security experience and age requirements; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation environment, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns, report observations, and collaborate with site personnel and fellow officers. Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with directing visitors and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
