Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Field Inspections in Seattle, WA. You will patrol transit facilities and surrounding areas, maintain a visible security presence, and assist passengers, employees, and visitors with safety and courtesy. A valid driver’s license is required for the driving post.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $28.50 per hour. You will work a night schedule and contribute to a safe, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience (minimum).
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe locations for unusual conditions, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe transit locations for unusual conditions, reporting security‑related concerns and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence in a public transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
