As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will drive to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with passengers and staff, and respond to situations with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at transit facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors, transit personnel, and responding public-service agencies as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
