Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Irving, TX to monitor and patrol financial institution locations, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding site policies.

You will support access control, respond to alarms, and complete incident reports to keep the site safe. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
