Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Houston, TX to safeguard clients at a financial institution location. This full-time, unarmed role involves patrolling, monitoring, and maintaining a visible presence while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will respond to incidents, assist with access control, and document observations for leadership. A minimum of 1 year security experience and a high school diploma are preferred, with background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
