Allied Universal’s Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position in Irving, TX offers a flexible, dependable option for supplementing income or building toward a full-time career. Responsibilities include client and employee security, unarmed patrols, access control, and timely incident reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity logs and shift documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel in Irving, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, assisting with authorized entry and directing visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
