Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a campus location in Auburn, AL. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Daily duties include monitoring access, reporting incidents, and maintaining a visible, welcoming presence. You will work a full-time schedule with a focus on safety, courtesy, and professionalism in a dynamic education setting.

Qualifikationen

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Auburn, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic higher education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming campus environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, documenting incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors, campus representatives, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
