Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Response in Auburn, AL to safeguard clients and support a welcoming campus environment. You will patrol campus areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

This full-time, unarmed position offers hourly pay of $15.10 and a schedule that includes night shifts. You will respond to alarms and incidents, document events, and collaborate with campus personnel and emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Auburn, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming campus environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, providing general information, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
