Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Route Coordinator in Memphis, TN. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a visible presence to protect clients in logistics and distribution facilities.

A valid driver’s license is required and duties include responding to incidents, monitoring access, and documenting activities. Full-time schedule with day and night shifts, at a pay rate of $12.00 per hour, is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols in loading areas, yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Document observations and patrol activities accurately and promptly and communicate to site contacts.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Route Coordinator in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, facility entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
