As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology-focused location, you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, monitor for security-related concerns, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
