Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Route Patrol in Independence, KY. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and maintain site operations while representing Allied Universal’s values of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, delivery concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location and report unusual conditions to site leadership or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
