Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Patrol in Millington, TN to monitor a logistics and distribution site, deter incidents, and provide customer service. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will perform routine patrols, verify access, respond to incidents, and report findings to site leadership.

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and maintain required logs and incident documentation.
• Observe loading and distribution operations for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
