Allied Universal, a leading security provider, seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Risk Mitigation in Miami, FL. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and respond to issues with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Risk Mitigation in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol food and distribution locations, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at food service and logistics distribution locations.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to warehouse, distribution, and food storage areas; verify visitor, contractor, and driver credentials according to site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
