Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security solutions provider, is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Miami, FL. You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional customer service across food service and logistics locations.

The role features two weekly shifts (Wed and Sun, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with a pay rate of $15.24 per hour. Employment includes a background check and drug screen as required by law, with potential licensing where

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at food service and logistics distribution locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading docks, warehouse areas, parking areas, trailer yards, building perimeters, and other designated locations.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel to help deter unauthorized entry and report irregular activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

What You'll Do
