As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Risk Management in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the property, buildings, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow applicable laws, company procedures, and site-specific protocols while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
