Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications project management location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, project spaces, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site-specific procedures, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and activity logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives, and support a professional environment for all occupants.
