Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver) in Bordentown, NJ to serve and safeguard clients across multiple sectors. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

This role offers a part-time schedule with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour and opportunities to work with our Shift platform to claim additional hours.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background investigation and drug screen as per policy.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following post orders.
• Complete accurate activity reports and patrol logs for leadership.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
