As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.


• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
