Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintaining logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations and issues to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.

As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
